Underturf Soil Supply:(Optional) We supply premium underturf soil to ensure proper lawn establishment, We do recommend allowing for 20% soil compaction when ordering, a common practice for proper installation.
Turf Laying and Site Preparation (Optional): Barren 2 Bliss focus on supply and delivery. We can though organise installation as an add-on service. We like to recommend the turf is rolled out properly to establish root contact with the soil.
Consultation and Advice: Offering guidance on choosing the right turf variety for your specific conditions (e.g., sun exposure, traffic, drought tolerance) and tips on preparation, installation, and maintenance to keep your lawn thriving in Queensland’s climate.

Turf Varieties
Barren 2 Bliss offers a selection of premium turf varieties suited for Bundaberg’s warm, subtropical climate.
Empire Zoysia: A low-maintenance option with high drought and shade tolerance, requiring 30% less mowing than buffalo and 66% less than Kikuyu. It stays neat even if unmowed for up to 4 weeks and resists pests and weeds.
Sapphire Buffalo: Known for its velvety-soft texture, shade tolerance (3–4 hours of sunlight), and drought hardiness. It’s low-maintenance, allergy-friendly, and creates a dense, lush lawn.
Wintergreen Couch: A sun-loving turf needing 8 hours of sunlight daily, with fine, soft blades and good drought tolerance. It’s perfect for full-sun areas and requires regular mowing to maintain its sharp look.
